The design of a sintering oven includes concepts of thermodynamics and heat transmission, with particular attention to the spaces used and the processing to which the cable is subjected.
Through cooperation with Customers who use our machines on a daily basis, we have improved and expanded our range of ovens, to offer solutions that satisfy not only all specific process requirements, but also the needs related to the installation and use of the oven itself, creating systems that optimize the available space and provide high-level technological solutions.
WTM vertical furnaces are characterized by:
- reduced floor space and a height that can be adapted to the spaces available at the Customer’s premises;
- possibility of making them with two different technologies (infrared lamps or forced hot air) or combining them together to maximize the opportunities of use;
- automatic opening and closing during start/stop phases, with cable movement to avoid its degradation;
- single or multi-zone construction, with temperatures up to 700 °C;
- presence of preheating zone and cooling system.
The ovens can be inserted in line with the taping process or off-line, depending on the Customer's preferences or needs; the video, in particular, shows a solution that, in addition to the oven, includes:
- pay-off and take-up unit;
- double-head taping column and integrated pulling unit;
- cooling systems;
- cable accumulation system.
WTM vertical ovens stand out for their versatility and technical performance both for sintering fluorinated tapes (PTFE) and for drying paints, without forgetting the customizations based on the specific production needs of the Customer.
